this petition came about after a 15-year-old boy was videotaped being attacked by another student simply for being gay. the boy received a chipped tooth and a possible concussion, while the bully got only three days of suspension. this is disgusting and wrong, close-mindedness needs to end. no one should ever be singled out for being different. ever. this isn’t gay rights, this is simply RIGHTS. everyone should be protected in school. everyone.
